Hotel Presidente Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires

My stay at Hotel Presidente had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, right on 9 de Julio, allowing me to explore the bustling central area of Buenos Aires easily. The service was excellent overall, with helpful and bilingual staff, although there was a negative incident of theft that affected my experience. The dining experience was a bit mixed, with a good variety of options but some aspects could be improved. The rooms, however, left a lot to be desired and were in need of a significant makeover, which impacted my comfort during the stay.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of the city, near iconic landmarks like the Obelisk and Theatro Colon. The rooms were substandard with tiny twin beds, and the shower experience was less than ideal due to vandalization and poor maintenance. However, the service was prompt and satisfactory considering the hotel was busy. The dining experience offered a variety of sweet treats but lacked substantial warm options. The facilities were somewhat lacking in quality and upkeep.

The hotel is well-located right on 9 de Julio, with an impressive lobby and satisfactory access to attractions. The rooms had a strong cigarette smoke smell and were minimally furnished, with a noisy fridge. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, with excellent bilingual service. The dining options were simple and sweet-focused, not as elaborate as other options at the same price point. The facilities were lacking in some aspects.

The hotel has a bit of a dated decor and not the most comfortable rooms, but the carpet seemed fresh. The view from the room was not very attractive, looking onto the backs of other buildings from the 70s.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were quite spacious but had been vandalized, making them not very attractive. The location was great, near the main shopping streets and within walking distance of Teatro Colón, but the service from the airlines who booked us was not welcoming. The dining experience was good for Argentina, offering various types of yogurts and pastries, but was rather simple compared to other hotels of the same price standards.
